What is Sisu?
Life is made of constant ups and downs, moving like a rollercoaster. This is what makes life at times exciting and at times overwhelming. From time to time, I tap into this word, sisu. It is a word that encompasses a mindset: strength of will, determination, and perseverance. It is a word that came into my life by chance but has profoundly shaped my personal and professional philosophy.

My clinical work is grounded in the belief that we are all unique and the experts of our own lives. We ultimately hold the answers to our problems, but at times, having a different perspective can help us uncover our full potential.
I received my M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Rutgers University in 2018 and have practiced as a family therapist working in child welfare in NYC for several years. I have experience in family therapy, couples therapy, and individual counseling. I have experience working with children/adolescents and adults.
I am licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.
